This is a stunning 19th century four storey sandstone villa. During the 1960’s – 1980’s the house was used as a Masonic lodge and for local social events. Thereafter the house was used as a family home, but due to its sheer size, it fell into disrepair as the owner struggled to maintain it.
We were commissioned in 2014 to extend, reconfigure and renovate the house for its new owner.
The dark, damp basement was fully tanked and fully renovated to form a family gym, snooker room, sauna and shower room
The ground floor lounge, dining room, entrance hall, breakfast area and prayer room were all refurbished. A new side extension was added to accommodate a double garage, utility, and open plan kitchen and family area with bi-folding doors opening out to the garden.
Both the first floor and attic floors were reconfigured and fully renovated to provide four en-suite bedrooms with dressing areas on each floor.
