This is a lovely 1910 sandstone semi on a busy street in Barrhead. This project was to replace a small dilapidated rear extension with a full-width rear extension. The extension had to be cleverly designed in order to tie in with the existing building and avoid clashing with the existing rear dormers.
The rear wall of the house was removed to connect into the extension and create an open plan kitchen, dining and family space.
The existing kitchen was then split to form a small utility space and ground floor cloak room.
