Spacesix Architects will carry out a feasibility study to assess the viability of your plans and potentially limit your exposure to unnecessary costs should you request it.
Get the best from your feasibility study
We will develop 2D or 3D computer generated sketch proposals of your project in collaboration with you to ensure the finished product meets your requirements. Where required we will consult with a structural engineer, to establish their expert views and incorporate their recommendations within the design where necessary.
Once an agreed design has been reached we will obtain a budget cost for the works by either consulting a quantity surveyor or by obtaining budget costs from trusted building contractors. Thereafter, if possible we will discuss with the local planning authority. The outcome of these discussions will be relayed back to you and the design adjusted if necessary.
Completion of your feasibility study
A successful feasibility study can take time to conclude. However, it is vital to fully consider your project at the outset. Typically this saves you time and money in the long run by flushing out issues before they arise. On completion of the feasibility study, you will have an agreed design, established your budget and if possible have feedback from the planning department. This will allow you to make an informed decision on how to progress.
